Clown" |
Cuckoo The Clown
knows how difficult it can be for adults, parents and guardians to
run a successful and enjoyable party. So much to remember... before
and on the day. Your children will be relying on you to make it
special so here are some tips which should stand you in good stead
before Cuckoo The Clown arrives to take the pressure off!
Its your child's party so make sure you include them in some of the
preparation. You may want to keep some elements secret but otherwise
let them help.
1.
Remember, plan your date
well in advance. A lot of parties take place at weekends, so
securing venues and
Cuckoo The Clown
will be harder. Why not hold the party
after school? You can book Cuckoo The Clown up to 12 months in advance.
2.
Check to make sure
there is nothing else happening on the day of the party. You don't
want your children's friends having to choose which party to attend
or finding it clashes with a major event, school play or football
play-off .
3.
Choose a venue with good facilities
and ample car parking or at least safe places to drop off and pick
up. Consider whether you will invite parents to be there?
Cuckoo The Clown will always send out a
booking form to confirm the details; time, venue, date and cost.
Don't forget to send 1 of the two copies provided back in the
stamped addressed envelope provided and keep 1 copy for yourself.
4.
Party themes can be great fun. If you want to theme the party,
make sure you can buy all the plates, table cloths, decorations and
balloons that make the theme work. If you want the party
guests to dress up consider the cost and problems that parents may
face. Some costumes may not be practical for running around in and
playing games. Clown or circus themes offer lots of fun with ready
availability of paper plates and other goods at local party shops
etc.
5.
Make your guest list and make
sure your child tells you who needs to be included. Don't forget
relatives, family, friends, other parents and children you may come
in contact with. Don't forget to let brothers and sisters invite a
friend so they won't feel left out.
6.
Write out the
invitations, so you give as much notice as possible and don't forget
to tell everyone Cuckoo the Clown is coming to visit. Be specific
about the start and finish time. Two hours is an ideal length.
Cuckoo The Clown offers a two hour party package where all you need to do
is; feed the children; supply party bags and the lighter for the
birthday cake candles! Easy.
7.
Ask a couple of friends to help
on the day. If you book
Cuckoo The Clown
to entertain the children you will need other adults present to deal
with children who may need comfort breaks whilst he is performing.
8.
Plan the party food.
It should be kept simple and easy to eat. Don't forget to consider
any dietary requirements such as vegetarian, gluten free etc.
Make food in advance that can be frozen. Order the birthday cake. If
you will be giving pieces to each guest to take home you may need to
order two!
9.
Just before the party
make sure you have spoken to all the parents or had replies. If you
are providing goody bags, the number of guests is even more
critical. Buy any remaining food!
10.
Relax, Cuckoo The Clown is on his way (if you booked him). Make sure
the front door of your venue has balloons or a banner so everyone
knows where the party is. If you live down an unmarked lane, put a
sign on just by the turning. Although Cuckoo The Clown uses SatNav to get
him to parties on time, even SatNav can be foiled by fields and back
lanes. By booking the two hour party package with Cuckoo The
Clown -
you really will be able to enjoy the party.
